AIS Compassion Movement
The AIS whānau are extremely passionate about giving within our community, especially to our tamariki.
The AIS Compassion movement supports our local communities across Aotearoa.
We support a number of deserving local charity organisations and support 3 non-profit early childcare centres in Otara, Mangere and Manurewa, from financial contributions through to volunteering time and pro bono construction work. We have ambitions to fly AIS Compassion Movement to great heights by collaborating with companies and individuals so we reach as many children as possible throughout the motu. Every single dollar donated is given directly to the benefit of the tamariki so please get in touch to see how you can get involved.
Community Focus
After losing their jobs and not being able to obtain another visa, Joel Macarubbo and Tarri Caraquez were stuck in lockdown in Auckland with a four-month-old baby. AIS met with the family to provide assistance and offered Joel a job the next day.
The team here at AIS come together at the end of each year to donate Christmas gifts to those less fortunate, and is an easy way for our staff to give back to the community at a special time of year, to ensure they had a gift to unwrap on Christmas day. We support whanau in the community that would have otherwise gone without a kai (meal) and without opening a present on Christmas Day.
We are honoured to support 3 non-profit early childcare centres in the community, and we were stoked to be able to donate 126 pairs of gumboots to a group of well-deserving kids.
We were fortunate enough to have the opportunity to drop in a few weeks of breakfast items for the preschools we support. It’s important to us that the tamariki in our communities are well fed, so that they can focus on their learning and having fun with their friends.
